Framework in brief

The Vitae Researcher Development Framework describes the competencies a researcher must master in order to become an expert researcher. The model is has been developed using interviews with researchers.

A ‘lens’ has been added for information literacy – the SCONUL Seven Pillars Model. This allows information literacy competencies to be related to a researcher’s development.
